Udaipur (Rajasthan) [India], April 2: Private aviation traffic at Maharana Pratap Airport, Udaipur, has recorded noticeable rise over the past year, reflecting the growing demand for charter services and private aviation, premium leisure travel, and high-profile destination events. Industry data indicates that charter movements have increased sharply during peak wedding seasons, festive periods, and large corporate events. Demand has been driven by high-net-worth travelers, corporate groups, and event planners seeking flexible schedules, privacy, and direct connectivity.
A notable shift within the segment is the growing preference for point-to-point charter operations between non-metro cities. Airports such as Udaipur are increasingly being used as primary entry points, reducing reliance on metropolitan hubs and improving travel efficiency for premium travelers.
Udaipur’s positioning as one of India’s leading luxury tourism and destination wedding locations continues to support aviation demand.
