During an exclusive interview with Deccan Chronicle, Nawazuddin Siddiqui delved into his remarkable journey in the film industry and expressed his fondness for the city of Hyderabad. When questioned about his deliberate attempt to break away from his serious image, Siddiqui acknowledged his past ventures in comedy roles such as Freaky Ali and Motichoor Chaknachoor. However, he revealed that after portraying intense characters in movies like Gangs of Wasseypur and Badlapur, he felt a desire to consciously challenge and transcend that image. The captivating script of Jogira Sara Ra Ra captivated him, leading him to embrace the opportunity with enthusiasm.

When probed about his role in the film, Siddiqui revealed that Jogira Sara Ra Ra promises to be a delightful entertainer infused with comedy and a touch of romance. With this film, the talented actor and his team aspire to rekindle the magic of cinema and entice audiences back to theaters. They aim to present an enriching experience, emphasizing the power and depth of storytelling on the big screen. Siddiqui expressed his hopes for the movie to be a joyous outing for families.

As for movies, he expressed a fondness for watching them in theaters, recounting his recent experience of enjoying a children’s film during his visit to Dubai. Furthermore, Siddiqui mentioned appreciating the works of acclaimed filmmaker Asghar Farhadi.

Shifting gears to his upcoming Tollywood debut, Saindhav, alongside Venkatesh, Siddiqui expressed immense excitement about the project.
