Telangana Youth Services Department and Telangana State Society for Training and Employment Promotion (TS-STEP) Organize Successful ‘Mega Job Mela’ in Quthbullapur Assembly Constituency

In a remarkable initiative, the Telangana Youth Services Department and Telangana State Society for Training and Employment Promotion (TS-STEP) jointly conducted a massive job fair in the vibrant Quthbullapur Assembly constituency on Monday. The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 118 prominent private companies, who collectively offered a staggering 10,000 employment opportunities.

The esteemed event was inaugurated by BRS Quthbullapur MLA K.P. Vivekanand, who was accompanied by esteemed ministers V. Srinivas Goud and Ch. Malla Reddy. The presence of these dignitaries added an air of significance and encouragement to the job fair.

Eager and hopeful youth flocked to the venue, demonstrating their fervor and zeal as they took part in the rigorous interview sessions that determined their selection for coveted job positions. A commendable number of 4,725 young individuals registered their names for this exceptional opportunity.

The participating companies were swift in their recruitment process, hiring 269 candidates immediately on the spot. Additionally, they shortlisted an impressive 1,458 candidates for further evaluation in the final selection process. The atmosphere brimmed with anticipation and excitement as the selected candidates eagerly awaited the outcome.

In a heartening gesture, MLA Vivekanand, along with the esteemed ministers, personally handed over appointment letters to the candidates who had secured positions during the event. The inclusive nature of the job fair was evident as a few transgender candidates also participated, resulting in the selection of two talented individuals from the transgender community, alongside three specially-abled candidates.

Expressing his gratitude, MLA Vivekanand extended his heartfelt appreciation to both the participating companies and the enthusiastic youth who contributed to the resounding success of the job fair. He proudly announced that the selected candidates were being offered competitive salaries ranging from Rs10,000 to Rs 80,000 per month, ensuring a promising future for the newly employed individuals.
